UPDATE - 1/11/08 - current download - FINAL RELEASE
Made water look better.
Increased texture quality for most textures.
Added story to new levels.
Added new tree model and texture.
Got rid of scene ambience - looks better.
Added alert bar.
Other little things that I can't remember...
Packed up final release. Have fun!

Removed rocket launcher and jackhammer, but added rifle and some proper names.
Added dirt floor, grass and tree scenery.
Gave training mission soldiers green clothes.
Added a health display for enemies.
Removed music; was taking up valuable lines of code.
Improved AI to base new movements on last movments, though this is still being tested.
UPDATE - 20/10/08
Took out main story missions.
Added training missions so the player actually learns how to play the game.
Added close combat. Right click when near an enemy to kick/punch them if out of ammo.
Increase fog distance to make level slightly brighter.
Allow for setting of enemy visual range (and speed?)

Increased resolution.
Repositioned HUD elements.
Added 3rd level.
Changed level stats file for different enemies.
Picking up ammo now fills your health.

Have added 'sprites' to plains that walk for the enemies.
The main character is now one of the sprites too.
Removed story to speed up dev time.

This is a 20 liner that I started making a while in DBP.
I tried to make an engine that could load levels and have a story to go along with them. I think it's coming along quite nicely.

That's a real pain. I wonder how many other people are having problems running DBP apps.
You had DBP running before you formatted your laptop though, right?
Yeah, I'm not sure what has changed though, I'm pretty sure DB runs on my xp computer though.
